Like many folks who awoke to gyms suddenly closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, I began looking for home gym solutions and discovered PRx Performance’s squat racks. Sure, I could have bought cheaper “squat stands” that would have partly done the job, but instead of throwing good money after bad, I decided buy this permanent solution — and I’m sure glad I did. I’m grateful that I had the resources to make this investment in our family’s fitness future. PRx has squat rack solutions for every garage. My garage ceiling height is a little short, but PRx offered three solutions. I went for the Profile PRO upgrade because I gained the ability to store my spotters within the rack, which is definitely helpful since I don’t have a lot of spare space. Plus the laser-etched numbers are really helpful! Sure, I could have bought an inward folding rack and saved some money, but PRx’s signature innovative upward folding mechanism with makes it super easy to set up and get started on my workouts. My advice: If getting a squat rack without the pull-up bar, definitely go for the reinforcement kit as you will feel super confident with racking your barbell. Finally, PRx has GREAT customer support on both pre-sales and post-sales ends. Even with high demand, they are super helpful and awesome to work with!
There are a ton of products available for creating your garage gym, and even more companies who are creating folding away racks. Especially when working out alone, ensuring the quality of your gym equipment should be a high priority. With American made steel, there’s no question about the integrity of the system being used. I’ve experienced no issues in the past month and I’m loving being able to get back to work as all the gyms are closed. If you’ve been hesitant because of the dollar signs, put your mind to rest. Your physical health and personal safety will thank you later.

Love the squat rack. Very durable and well built. Easy to install. I did it by myself. Folding was easy. I use the squat rack everyday and am very impressed.
I purchased the 3x3 Pro fold up rack without the pull up bar, because it would not fit in the space I have with the pull up bar. So, I purchased the pull up bar separately. I have to say, this rack is absolutely solid. I love it. Now, I can train from the comfort of my garage and not worry about gym membership fees.
